Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Oldbury

Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 (Dependent on experience)

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday (day shift)

Oliver Rae is working on behalf of a Precision Engineer based in the heart of the Black Country. They are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. The position will best suit someone who has had experience working with high value components and one-off parts due to the products that they manufacture. This is not a high-volume production role it is more craftsmanship and traditional engineering.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC Machines to perform various tasks such as milling and turning.

Reading drawings.

Performing basic mathematical calculations.

Manufacturing 1 offs (bespoke products).

Re-machining components where required.

Inspecting and measuring components.

Ensuring accuracy of products.

Qualification/experience:

Must be a time served traditional CNC Machinist who has experience on Horizontal Borers, XYZ Lathes and Millers.

Preferably Heidenhain experienced.

Preferably G Code knowledge for the programmes.
