We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a global leader in precision manufacturing at their site based in Burnley.
This role will include working from engineering drawings, collaborating with teammates in a supportive environment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing as a CNC Machinist?
* Setting up tools and loading materials onto CNC machine
* Carrying out machining of components
* Measuring components produced on machines and using inspection equipment to ensure that components are manufactured to drawing dimensions and tolerances
* Reading, interpreting, and working from engineering drawings
* Contributing in a team working environment
* Contributing to continuous improvement
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Manually handling weights up to 25kg
* Completing quality documentation
* Using computer equipment for data purposes
* Working to lean theory
* Observing and practising the 5S principles
What do you need?
Time served as an engineer (or have an equivalent qualification)
* Experienced in working with stainless steels and machine programming
* Proficiency in setting up, operating and adjusting tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* A knowledge of how to operate computer equipment for data purposes
