Position Info:

Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Wage: $17.00 per hour, based on 35 hours per week

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Job Duties:

1.       Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services as assigned throughout the resort.

2.       May include cleaning of kitchen area, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, etc.

3.       Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.

4.       Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries.

5.       Pick up debris and empty trash containers.

6.       Maintain outside grounds.

7.       Ensure that cleaning supplies are well stocked, organize and maintain storage areas.

8.       Perform laundry tasks including collect, sort, remove laundry from dryers and fold immediately to prevent wrinkling.

9.       Respond to guests and staff inquiries and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.

10.    Set up meeting rooms, including proper placement of chairs, tables, and linen, all according to instructions.

11.    Ensure all lost items are recorded on the worksheet and handed in to the management.

12.    Take personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly at all times.

13.    Report any unusual or suspicious persons/activities to the management.

14.    Report any maintenance issues including burned out light bulbs.

15.    Perform other reasonable housekeeping duties if required.

Qualification and skills:

1. No education or experience required, we will train one on one.

2. Strong ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

3. Client focus and attention to detail.

4. Good communication skills are an asset.

5. Good ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally at all times.
