Critical Skills
Care: The client comes first. Care more about doing right by the client than your commission.
Accountability: Show up daily, engage in the repetitive work of talking to people about real estate, and be prepared for rejection 90% of the time.
Knowledge: Master contracts, home buying & selling process timelines, talking points, and scripts.
Transparency: Admit what you don't know.
Coachability: Ask for help. Apply the feedback to get 1% better daily.
Monthly Expectations
While there are lots of ways to build your practice, the activities are similar.
The following are the average monthly activities of an agent who sells $5M+ in real estate:
Contacts: 300 (texts, video texts, dial attempts, social media messages, etc.)
Conversations: 60
Appointments: 13
Average Sale Price: $375,000
Earn one sale every 51 conversations (aka be told "no" 50 of every 51 conversations)
