Organizational:
The Competitive Intelligence Team – Local, provides advertising intelligence that yields insights resulting in a marketplace advantage for a major client. Our goal is to use this data to provide actionable insights that inform strategy and investment.
Individual:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Competitive Intelligence Director to join our team. The selected candidate would be primarily responsible for leading the creation of comprehensive competitive reports and closely collaborating with our strategy and client teams to deliver actionable data.  Looking for a strategic planner who can generate comprehensive competitive reports that analyze and interpret the data to provide valuable insights into the competitors strategies and how that can inform our strategies.
Responsibilities:
Individual:
Lead the development, maintenance and evolution of reports based on understanding of our clients’ business needs.
Work directly with our strategic planning and client teams, ensuring the data provided is accurate, relevant, and actionable.
Utilize strong media knowledge to contextualize competitive reports, deciphering the narrative within the data and its direct implications on media strategy.
Monitor and identify changes in competitors' business strategies, interpreting how these shifts could potentially impact our clients.
Regularly engage with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges, tailoring competitive intelligence reports to address their specific needs.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and advancements, leveraging this knowledge to enhance our competitive intelligence capabilities.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies (problem-solving).
Familiar with media measurement methodologies.
Entrepreneurial spirit and able to work with minimal supervision.
Team:
Manage/train competitive junior staff (on-shore and off-shore) across a variety of tools and processes.
Supervise workflow to guarantee timely and accurate project deliveries.
Provide ongoing performance feedback to ensure growth.
Guide team in setting goals and professional development.
Encourage proactive thinking across competitive team.
Foster a collaborative environment.
