Aftercare Engineer Hampshire £35000-£40000 per annum
The engineers job role will be to carry out Plumbing & Gas Maintenance across new build sites to a safe, clean and well presented manor. They must be able to work to a strict programme when punctuality and quality of workmanship is key. Must be able to work with other trades and be able to handle difficult situations with work and customer issues.
You would be carrying out general plumbing and gas maintenance which would include
* Materials issues, ie. leaks, burst fittings etc
* Replacing toilets, towel rails and radiators
* Guttering repairs
* Repair gas pipes and fittings
* Boiler changes
* Shower breakdown and enclosures
* Replacement taps
The company cover all types of maintenance within a new build house, so competence on the above is key for the business.
The engineer will need the following
* Gas Safe Registered (essential requirement)
* G3 Unvented (essential requirement)
* ASHP knowledge or accredited (essential requirement)
* Basic knowledge of electrics (changing zone valves, pumps, stats etc)
* Solar Thermal experience (not essential)
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in plumbing maintenance and customer relations
* GNVQ level 2 or 3 or its equivalent qualification
* Competent in working with Ideal, Manhattan, Rocca, Aqualisa and Bristan products
