You will be safely preparing customer cars for their journey ahead, whilst working on a range of manufacturers and models, developing your skills and staying up to date with the latest vehicle technology!

Key roles and responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician

You will be responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
Working closely with other members of the workshop team.
Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
What we’re looking for in the ideal Vehicle Technician

Previous working experience in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician.
Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.
As a minimum you will hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential.
Full UK Driving licence.
