We are currently looking for a Head of Strategic Energy and Utilities for our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering practice with a passion for excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will drive growth, foster client relationships, and lead strategic initiatives.
The Head of Strategic Energy and Utilities will:
Manage team finances, including profit and loss analysis, and oversee project commercial aspects.
Propel business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding our client base.
Engage heavily in operational tasks like expanding our client roster, increasing sales, and growing the team.
Build and sustain robust client relationships, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
Ensure seamless project execution, meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements.
The Head of Strategic Energy and Utilities will have:
An accredited Honours Degree in strategic energy, utilities, and/or renewable engineering, with a minimum of ten years' post-graduation experience in the energy and utilities sector.
A solid engineering background with a track record of successful project delivery.
Chartered Engineer and Member of the Energy Institute (EI) or equivalent professional body.
A sound technical understanding of energy generation, infrastructure solutions, and the current energy landscape.
Leadership experience within the energy and utilities sector.
