Service Manager - Autism & Learning Disabilities

Radstock, Somerset

£35,000

Work from home position with one shift on-site in the clients home per week.

TRC are working with a young and ambitious company who, within their first 2 years of operating, have positively impacted the lives of adults with Autism and learning disabilities living in their own homes.

They are continuing the excellent work with a client based in Radstock. We are searching for an organised individual with excellent knowledge of Autism and great people skills.

The Role:

* Recruitment, retention, and engagement of your staff team(s)

* Leading the continuous professional development of your teams

* Undertaking regular quality supervisions, appraisals, debriefs, team meetings

* Undertaking regular staff observations (positive monitoring) and competency assessments managing staffing matters, including performance and capability in accordance with the company

* Care’s hr policies and advised processes

* Managing rota’s and time sheets for the service in line with procedure

* Complete a minimum of 12 hours per week directly supporting the individual

* Identifying and developing talent for succession planning

* Undertake senior support worker, team leader and support worker duties where applicable.

* Cover shifts where there is a shortfall within the rota and no cover can be found

* Be part of the company on call system out of normal operating hours

* Liaising with the responsible housing provider for repairs and maintenance

* Leading on health and safety responsibilities as determined by the partnership with the housing provider (fire alarm checks etc.)

The role is working from home for the majority of the week however to maintain contact with the client and their family, the manager is required to include one 12 hour shift per week into the rota.
