Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Southampton
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000
An opportunity has opened for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a Hardware & Embedded Software development company based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a few years’ background working as an Electronics Engineer or similar and have strong PCB Design skills ideally in Altium.
What they’re looking for:
* Experience working as an Electronics Design Engineer
* PCB Design experience using Altium or similar
* Low level Embedded software knowledge – C, C++
* ARM cortex experience or other microcontrollers
* Analogue hardware experience or PSUs
* Any BLE, WiFi experience would be a bonus
Electronics Design Engineer Duties:
* Working with the rest of the Engineering team, designing and developing new and existing products
* Using Altium for PCB Design, schematic capture and layout
* Firmware writing products
* Testing circuits and making sure they’re in working order
* Producing specifications for customers requirements
