Development Engineer

This role will focus on engineering project work, to develop and improve products and manufacturing processes, from ideas and concepts, through development and on to implementation.
Responsibilities:
* Use CAD (SolidWorks) to design components, tools, machine parts
* Organise and undertake product and process development work in the technical facility, setting up equipment and manufacturing samples for testing, demonstration and customer trials.
* Evaluation and proving of new product specifications.
* Generation of product manufacturing standards and specifications.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications - Degree, Apprenticeship etc
* Mechanical design ability with CAD experience.
* Ability to perform hands on tooling and machine set-up
* Problem solving ability
