Job title: Accounts Assistant Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary – £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits: Study Package, Pension, Medical Health Insurance
Duration – Perm/Full-time, Hybrid: WFH 2 days

Leading firm of Accountants & Tax Advisers in the field of auditing and professional services, is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Accounts Assistant Manager. As an Accounts Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts using CCH software
* Preparation of corporation tax computations using CCH software
* Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
* Reviewing trainees accounts files
* Developing trainees’ technical skills
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly payroll
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Completing assignments within agreed time budget
* Keep technically up to date.
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant Manager with the following:
* Qualified or part qualified ACCA/ICAEW (Study support will be provided where required)
* Ideally with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong technical competence
* Use of accountancy software with Sage, Xero and CCH experience an advantage.
* Good communication skills
* Personable
