We’re recruiting for an International Project Manager to join a friendly, supportive team in a successful growing business.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and deliver international and global programmes to promote collaboration and innovation.

You will take responsibility for the scoping, agreeing, and developing of specific activities, including delivery through to evaluation of all programmes allocated to you and support clients to fully exploit and commercialise all opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with the International & Global Team to develop the programme and itinerary for each funded programme

* Attend programme related meetings with Partners as required

* Act as an International & Global Programme ambassador and promote opportunities across the company

* Ensure that each programme adheres to and follows policy and process

* Organise an effective recruitment and selection process for each programme

* Organise and deliver with partners an effective "Getting ready for the market” programme for delegates prior to going out to country, ensure that delegates are all allocated an Innovation & Growth Specialist immediately after selection and they are supported to develop an International Strategy and Action Plan prior to the overseas visit

* Manage the overseas market focused activities enabling delegates to receive maximum benefit from the programme

* Ensure all documents related to the programme planning, delivery and evaluation are stored in SharePoint for access by team members and complete all reports and documentation for each programme to ensure compliant claim and audit trail

* Agree budgets for each global programmes and track actual spend against agreed budget

* Follow up with all international and global programme delegates to collect feedback on impacts that have resulted from the programmes and promote good news stories where possible

* Contribute to the ongoing review and improvements of systems and processes to ensure the continuous improvement of service delivery.

What the employer is looking for;

Educated to degree level or equivalent in business related discipline, or commensurate professional experience in a similar role. Project Management (e.g., Prince 2, APM) or business management certification (e.g., CMI Level 3 Award, ILM Level 3 in Leadership & Management) will be an advantage.

Experience of working internationally within a service or business support organisation

The role requires national travel and occasional international travel involving overnight stays.

Proven track record of working with partners and building relationships within a business-to-business environment

Experience of organising overseas visits or similar activities with SMEs

Experience of working within a service or business support organisation together with knowledge of the business support infrastructure

Experience in promoting and delivering marketing campaigns

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;

Ability to lead and influence both directly and indirectly;

High level of organisation and planning skills;

Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines and be responsive

Ability to effectively prioritise multiple demands, make good decisions and action promptly
