Water Treatment Service Chemist

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist.
Location: Chelmsford, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £40K + Training + Benefits

We are working with a long standing and well-established Water Treatment company who hold a national presence. They are now looking to recruit Water Treatment Service Chemist. You will be covering Commercial, Industrial and Leisure sites carrying out analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers, detailed reports to clients. Our client can offer the successful candidate excellent overtime rates, generous holiday allowance and company pension scheme.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Hands on experience working for a Water Treatment company working as a Service Chemist.
" Excellent technical, and chemical knowledge.
" Experience managing accounts would be beneficial to the role.
" Excellent knowledge of Water Treatment systems.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to organise time in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
" Undertaking sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers, using onsite test kits.
" Ensuring to dose closed systems with correct chemicals upon completion of sampling and analysis.
" Efficiently managing and developing new and existing accounts.
" Attending sites
" Finding opportunities to upsell company services.
" Producing quotes and tenders for clients.
" Producing detailed reports
" Acting as first point of contact for clients, ensuring to maintain excellent relationships and provide excellent support.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
