In this role, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic project team comprising a project manager, hardware engineer, mechanical engineer, and software engineer specializing in robotics. Together, you will craft system specifications during the project's definition phase. Your responsibilities will include creating and testing software in Raamsdonksveer according to project documentation. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in commissioning systems alongside the lead installation engineer at various locations worldwide. - Collaborate with the sales department to provide controls concepts and quotations, supporting the sales phase.
- Work with a diverse project engineering team to develop functional and technical specifications during the project's definition phase.
- Partner with the hardware engineer to design the electrical hardware concept.
- Conduct concept reviews alongside the multidisciplinary project team.
- Lead and coordinate the team to ensure timely development of software and technical controls components.
- Perform testing and simulation of systems at our factory.
- Oversee the commissioning of machines worldwide at customer sites.
- Develop manual documentation and provide operator training to customers.
- Manage software and engineering details both internally and externally.
- Assist customers in the event of breakdowns, collaborating with the service department as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation
- Several years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in programming and commissioning controlling machines and logistics systems
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley systems
- Knowledge of safety systems, frequency controllers, servo drives, and bus systems (Profibus and Profinet)
- Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong analytical skills with a flexible and customer-oriented mindset
- Results-driven with a strong sense of perseverance
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, with proficiency in German as a bonus
