We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service professional to join our client's team in Gateshead. This position offers a temporary contract with the potential for a permanent role. Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls and various types of inquiries from suppliers, health care professionals, current resident's family and friends, and new care seekers.
Be the first point of contact for callers, gathering comprehensive details about their care needs and current situation.
Capture the care seeker's details on a sales form and forward them directly to the care home.
Book appointments for the care seekers to visit the care home of their interest.
Send confirmation emails and relevant literature to the enquirers.Key Skills:

Strong customer service background in contact centres.
Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in spelling and grammar for sending customer emails.
Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously, with good system navigation skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Empathy and the ability to handle sensitive calls with care.Working Hours:

The ideal candidate will work 40 hours per week, spread across 5 shifts of 8 hours each. The shifts will be from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

Safeguarding and Complaint Handling:

Additionally, this role includes handling calls from the care provider's head office, dealing with feedback and complaints. You will be responsible for collating and forwarding complaint details via email to our client for review. This requires professionalism, delicacy, and attention to detail.
