Senior Company Buyer
My client is currently looking for a Senior Company Buyer to manage the existing Purchasing & Procurement Department and manage the purchasing for all Company branches, both in the UK and our international operations.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Manage supplier relationships on behalf of the company.
* Negotiate costs and delivery lead times with suppliers.
* Manage the documentation associated with purchase orders.
* Analysing stock reports and monitor stock levels.
* Managing the buying of stock from overseas.
* Overseeing and monitoring contracts with suppliers.
* Sourcing new suppliers in the UK and Abroad.
* Liaise with Sales team members regarding their customers’ enquiries and order status.
* Managing and purchasing all types of PPE and other consumables.
* Negotiate & establish long term supply contracts such as utilities, insurances and other services.
The ideal candidate will already have a proven track record within purchasing and team management.
