Overview:
MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Manual centre lathe operator/setter for a long-standing machinery company in Netherton. An established local company who supplies customers globally.
Duties:
Carefully studying drawings for job orders
Quality inspecting customers work to verify specifications.
Adjusting and setting onsite machines
Programming mills and lathes
Using Fanuc lathes and Heidenheim mills
Some products are heavier than others so you will be expected to operate with a variety.
The ideal candidate needs:
Will have experience with centre lathes, with the ability to programme.
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 1pm
Full Time
Temp to Perm
Pay:
£12.50 - £17.00 per hour
This is depending on experience with options to advance in the future.
