CNC Star / Citizen Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator
Responsibilities:
You will be required to Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations.
The machines are a Star SB16 Type 480 and Citizen Cincom L32 Sliding Head
- You will require a good knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls and Wizard software.
- Experience in manufacturing precison machined parts
- Be able to read engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficiency in software for programming CNC machines
- Experience with materials handling and operating logic controllers
- Familiarity with hand tools used in machining operations
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles
Permanent Position
Hours Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm
Friday 7am to 3pm
