Our client within the water sector are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Advisor to join their Birmingham office team.

The role:

To work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to provide competent advice in support of Quality Assurance.
Develop and maintain all Quality related company policies and procedures as part of the integrated management system for use throughout the company’s activities.
Organisation and manage the IMS/document management systems.
Perform internal auditing to measure the adequacy of the IMS and its application throughout the company to ensure relevant ISO standards are met.
Work in conjunction with the Procurement team to conduct contractor/supplier Quality focused audits and inspections to measure their adequacy of Quality Assurance standards and services.
Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Identify training needs, develop Quality related training materials including toolbox talks and organize training to meet expected quality standards.
Manage the internal non-conformance system tracking timely corrective action, escalation and closure. Ensure any sharing and learning is communicated throughout the business.
Ensure that all Quality related complaints, incidents or non-conformance are reported accurately and investigated to discover root cause to prevent reoccurrence.
Analyse data/KPI’s to identify areas for improvement in the quality system and further develop and maintain the SHEQ Dashboard with more focus on Quality.
Chair and lead when necessary, Quality Assurance related meetings and ensure that minutes are accurately prepared and shared.
Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
Support the SHEQ Team in achieving goals for the company, department, and project sites.
