SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs at a primary school in Sheffield. This role focuses on providing tailored support and interventions to help students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, adapting methods to suit individual needs.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to implement effective strategies.
Assist in monitoring and recording progress of students with additional needs.
Help foster an inclusive environment that encourages students of all abilities to participate and thrive.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working with SEN students within a school environment.
Be knowledgeable about different types of learning difficulties and adaptive teaching methods.
Show empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to student welfare.
Hold relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs.
