Offsite/Modular Fabrication Operative

We are looking to recruit new members for our Fabrication Team. Pay rate is dependant on skill level. Most inexperienced members are able to progress sufficiently to achieve the higher scales within 12-24 months, however this would be dependant on prior experience engagement and attitude to progress.

Full training will be provided so experience is not necessary, however as we are an off-site manufacturer for the mechanical electrical and plumbing industry, either mechanical, electrical, plumbing or thermal insulation site experience or, prefabrication and fabrication or assembly experience is an advantage and pay rate would reflect prior experience.

Potential duties for this role may include the following:

* Copper and stainless pipe, electrical containment and steel box section cutting and preparation.

* Off-line batching of sub assemblies and small parts.

* Off-line batching and On-line installation of thermal insulation to pipework.

* Assembly of services modules from shop drawings and schedules.

Ideal candidates would be:

* Willing to undertake training to progress enough to be able to carry out all fabrication assembly operations

* Enthusiastic and punctual

* Looking for long term role with progression

* Someone looking to improve their skill set and break out of unskilled roles into skilled roles and enjoy the pay associated with higher skill.

Potential good fit with:

* Trades labourer/ apprentice who would prefer to come away from site and work in a better environment.

* Packer/warehouse operative with practical skills who would enjoy a more engaging role.

* Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing related Trade person looking to come away from site work into a better environment.

* Experienced Offsite or Modular Engineering Operative - all trades
