About the role:

You will join a central Customer and Business Development Team (within the Assurance and Public Protection directorate) that provides exceptional administrative, compliance, and operational support.

Reporting to the Customer and Business Development Manager, you will coordinate and support compliance and improvement activities, and provide business support for teams delivering a range of services within the directorate.

About you:

We are looking for a friendly, organised and motivated individual who can work as part of a team to provide a responsive compliance and improvement support service.

You will be an excellent communicator with advanced administrative and customer service skills. You will particularly enjoy this role if you have the following qualities:

* Experience of delivering high quality customer and business support in a complex environment.

* Experience/interest in health and safety, business continuity, corporate complaints, risk monitoring, Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests, or Members Enquiries.

* Customer focussed with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience of managing a mixed and varied workload of conflicting priorities.

* Responding effectively to the needs of all stakeholders.

* Confident with technology and competent user of Office365 applications.

* Experienced in maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and business systems, and producing reports.

* High level of personal drive and energy with a can-do attitude.
