Quality Control Inspector

Location: Newmarket

Hours: 39 hours a week Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm Mon - Thur and 8am - 12pm Friday (5 days on site)

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £25-28k

My client's objective in Quality Control (QC) is to ensure that all samples are accurately prepared and analyzed in a timely manner. This includes the accurate calculation of additions to production batches or as part of a validation process. The QC team are also responsible for the batch release of finished bulk solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect production lines for adherence to process and procedure.
Inspect and subsequently release/reject incoming raw materials, componentry, and finished goods produced by the company or authorized third parties.
Control and manage deviations from processes, procedures, or product release specifications via the company's nonconformity procedure.
Complete documents related to packaging and release activities, including generating and populating certificates of analysis.
