QHSE Manager

QHSE Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Creating and implementing QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Identifying potential risks to health, safety, and the environment within the organisation's operations and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Providing training and educational programs to employees on safety protocols, environmental protection measures, and quality standards.
Regularly monitoring and auditing processes, procedures, and facilities to ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and standards.
Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans to address potential emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
Ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant QHSE regulations and standards, and preparing reports for regulatory agencies as required.
Leading efforts to continually improve QHSE performance through the identification of opportunities for improvement and the implementation of best practices.
Assessing the QHSE performance of suppliers and contractors, and ensuring that they meet the organization's standards and requirements.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, regulatory agencies, and community members, to promote a culture of QHSE awareness and responsibility.
Managing the QHSE budget and allocating resources effectively to support QHSE initiatives and programs.Requirements

Min. 5 years experience in the field of health, safety and environment, preferably in the offshore/marine industry.
Civil experience, quality management experience and experience in a similar field.
Experience and knowledge of maintaining and operation management systems to the guiding standards, with priority on ISM and/or OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
Familiarity with HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA (Lean Six Sigma) and other risk assessment techniques.
Understanding of international HSE regulations applicable in the offshore/marine industry.
Strong communication skills.
Good knowledge & experience with MS Office
