Mobile Plant Technician
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting a Mobile Plant Technician to provide maintenance and repair service for a wide range of mobile plant and equipment across various sites for our well established client.
The Role:
* The primary focus for the Mobile Plant Technician will be for MOT preparation, annual servicing, breakdown fault finding and repairs to site vans, HGV vehicles and trailers, mobile cranes, forklift trucks and a range of heavy industrial specialist vehicles.
* Provide plant mechanical and basic electrical maintenance / fault-finding service.
Requirements:
* Apprentice, BTEC NVQ Level 3 trained and ideally have 2 years’ experience in maintaining vehicles.
* Knowledge and experience of HGV Regulations in preparing vehicles to MOT standards is desirable.
* Understand safe working procedures and apply recognised safety practices to each task, including the use of appropriate PPE.
* Self-motivated and highly flexible.
* A current driving license is essential.
* Strong fault-finding skills.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm with alternative weekend working 6:00am - 2:00pm with a midweek day off.
Salary: £36,498.67 including shift allowance.
This is a Full time, Permanent position
