Project Manager - Industrial & Logistics Bias
Job description:
Our client offers a range of services including but not limited to Industrial/Logistics, Commercial Offices, Refurbishment, Sports and Leisure and Education. Whether it be a bespoke remodel or a large Industrial facility they have the in house expertise of Building and Civil Engineering to ensure a quality delivery. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to run projects circa £20m value from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities As Project Manager:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource.
* Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
* Prepare accurate project budgets and monitor expenditures throughout the project.
* Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards.
* Lead and motivate the project team, including contractors and subcontractors to achieve project goals, this is key to being a great project manager.
* Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
* Implement effective risk management practices to minimise disruptions and delays.
* Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet Industry standards and client expectations.
* Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety guidelines.
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and resolving issues, Including group functions in the wider.
* Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.
Requirements As Project Manager:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* H&S Savy
* Must have strong traditional experiences including groundwork / civils. Ideally experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor.
* Must have recent experience of managing Industrial/Warehousing/logistics projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* Experience in a similar project management environment.
* Proven background in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
