I am pleased to be partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation, based in Farnborough, Hampshire who are looking for a Strategy Planning and Steering Coordinator with highly developed organisation and stakeholder management skills. Based in my client's modern UK office (3 days a week, rest from home) you will receive
£240-£280 per day inside IR35 and the role will be due for extension after 1 year.

Your new role

Under the direction of the Strategy Programs Manager, this fast-paced post will see you ensure multiple cross-functional teams meet strategic planning-related timelines and deliverables effectively and efficiently. You will support her in her important and pivotal role in the business, alongside a small team working across all departments of this complex and multiple-layer business, cross collaborating with First Line Management. You will be speaking to Process Owners, looking at gaps in the company process as defined by Audit, finding out their reporting line, looking at when tasks are complete and who will be informed. You will use your influence to expose the risk if the Process is not followed in the way approved by the Auditors, setting up meetings and managing diaries.

A huge advantage of this role will be the knowledge you will gain of the business and the formation of strong relationships with department heads; this is a great stepping stone to a more senior role.

To apply you will need

You will need to live within a one hour commute of Farnborough, Hampshireand have the following traits and abilities; having worked within a similar coordination position will be essential.

To have worked in a fast paced and highly collaborative position with a complex organisation
To have supported a key senior member of staff as a main stakeholder
Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Motivate and influence others up to Director level in a positive manner through collaboration and stakeholder management;
Forecast issues and consequences or proposed actions and identify alternate solutions;
Understand the dynamics of cross-functional and cross-departmental teams;
Think critically and strategically;
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
Maintain confidentiality;
Adapt to change while simultaneously maintaining focus on objectives and envisioning the bigger picture.
