Our client, a B2B retail sales organisation, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service/Sales Agent to join their team. With a successful 2023, they are expanding their team and offering an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Customer Service/Sales Agent, you will have the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with both existing and prospective customers. Your main responsibilities will include managing enquiries via email and telephone, processing sales orders, and identifying upselling opportunities. With a keen interest in delivering top-notch customer service, you will excel in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.

To ensure your success in this role, our client provides comprehensive training on their product range and internal systems. Following a 3-week training period in their Glasgow office, the successful candidate will have the option to work remotely full-time with occasional on-site working to engage with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing existing and new customer relationships
* Upselling products during client discussions
* Handling incoming enquiries via email
* Issuing quotations and managing lead times
* Producing customer statements and collecting payments
* Collaborating with the Customer Service team to resolve any issues
* Identifying potential customers for litigation activity
* Tracking sales leads and enquiries
* Answering inbound calls to track orders and arrange returns
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely order processing

Key Skills:

* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Comfortable in a sales environment
* Customer-focused attitude
* Genuine drive and desire to achieve results for clients
* Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel
