Pertemps are assisting a well-known retailer in recruiting for a 3.5T Van Home Delivery Driver - located in Washington, on a temporary ongoing basis.
The job involves of but is not limited to:
Furniture delivery consisting of a range of delivery types from Doorstep, Room of Choice and Premium Delivery. Premium Delivery includes assembly of the furniture and removal of any packaging that has come with the delivery. Drivers will be required to make 'pre-calls' to customers before delivery. Tools & Sat Nav are supplied.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous delivery driving experience
Can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Shifts: Up to 5 days a week between Monday-Friday
Start time: 6:00am
Finish time: Varies day-to-day, usually around 3pm average but up to 12 hours.
Rate of pay: £12.05 per hour
Driving licence requirements: Valid UK Category B (No more than 6 points)
Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
