Key Responsibilities:

Overview

• Reports to, and works alongside the Pre-Con Manager, providing leadership and support in the production of proposals, PQQs and bids.

• Is proficient in IT, in particular MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop.

• Demonstrates excellent verbal, written and numerical skills.

Work Winning & Tenders

• Fully produces pre-qualification and expression of interest submissions.

• Receives bids, fully understands the requirements and deliverables.

• Prepares and holds question reviews with the team, identifies USPs, added value propositions and winning themes with the team.

• Coordinates with the Marketing Manager/Marketing Coordinator/Business Development Manager, others in the region and across the business where contribution is required in the production of bids.

• Bid writes for each bid.

• Edits bid information from the team.

• Produces full proposal documents including graphics.

• Registers and uploads tender documentation to the Stepnell portal.

• In conjunction with the Pre-Con Manager, reviews the requirements of the ITT and produces a tender responsibility matrix.

• Monitors and manages the tender responsibility matrix to ensure that responses are received by the date required.

• In conjunction with the Pre-Con Manager, agrees the structure and format of the bid document.

• Develops and produces responses for inclusion within the bid document where required.

• Develops the bid response document to a draft review stage and reviews it with the Pre Con Manager; following the review completes all the required changes.

• Produces bid specific case studies and CVs.

• Manages and monitors information received through project portals.

• Ensures that tenders are uploaded to portals by the required submission date and time and, where required, ensures that hard copy submissions are delivered on time. • Assists with the production of tender presentations.

Business Development

• Researches clients and consultants for the team.

• Makes contact with client consultants as required.

• Prepares and produces presentation documentation for business development meetings as required.

Marketing

• Develops and maintains a knowledge bank of project case studies, company brochures, capability documents and CVs.

• Develop and maintains a knowledge bank of standard responses.

• Develop and maintains a library of bid information.

• Working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to improve bid layout / templates / CVs / branding / graphics / imagery.

• Supports Marketing Manager with content generation for press releases, marketing collateral, website, intranet and social media.

• Produces documents for issue as required. 5.0 Database

• Liaises with and visits other Stepnell offices to gain a full understanding of the business for proposal purposes and also to inform the region.

• Establishes key contacts in each region to assist in the production of proposals.

• Provides standard information for submissions.

Business Support

• Attends and contributes to the Group Bids Forum.

• Updates and maintains corporate CV information for the region.

• Sources and provides information for Group and/or regional newsletters.

• Produces organisational charts and other business support documents.

• Prepares presentation information for the region.

Construction

• With the Pre-Con Manager, attends handover meetings to explain relevant points from the bid document to the Construction team.

• Where relevant, visits sites to capture good ideas and initiatives to include within bids, case studies and CVs.

Continuous Improvement

• Reviews feedback received from the Construction teams on all projects to ensure lessons learnt are used within relevant bids.

• Ensures the Customer Feedback KPI for project wins is kept up to date.

• Reviews feedback from successful and failed bids to ensure continuous improvement
