Senior Software Engineer
South Wales - Hybrid Working (Once per week in the office)
Salary Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
CPS Group is proud to partner with a Digital Media business who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to enhance their rapidly expanding team!
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing, enhancing, debugging, and implanting high quality, scalable robust cloud application services
* Collaborate with Product Owner and Architects to understand acceptance criteria and be able to provide estimates on work items
* Evolve and maintain deployments scripts for releases into Cloud environments
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with the deployed software
Candidate Skills / Experience:
* Strong Experience with hands on Java development (ideally using Java17 or above)
* Prior experience with various databases including: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
* Building and deploying functionality with an event driven architecture using various Amazon Web Services
* Experience with automation tools e.g. SAM, Terraform, and Ansible
* Good knowledge of source control, continuous integration and release management
