Job Description
Inspect, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on company trailer equipment in accordance with specified safety procedures.
Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers but also repairs other equipment as required.
Certified on DOT Brakes and FHWA Inspections.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
General welding; steel / some aluminum.
Electrical troubleshooting & repair.
All brake component troubleshooting & repair.
Wheel-end troubleshooting & repair.
Position usually works under general supervision.
