Senior Structural Engineer (Rail)
Birmingham outskirts
£50k-£55k plus benefits
Our client has a great opportunity for an experienced senior structural engineer within their rail team. You will work within an experienced team on rail frameworks, as well as TFL, light rail and train operating companies.
Project work will include structural assessment and design, bridge inspections, repair assessment & design and more.
About you:
Degree qualified in civil or structural engineering
Able to manage your own projects
Team leader who can mentor and train junior members
Supporting leadership team in growth of client sector
Able to prepare railway submissions in accordance with relevant rail company standards
Good communication skills and able to liaise at all levels, representing our client at meetings
Chartered or working towards
The successful candidate will be fully conversant with British Standards and EuroCodes and have PTS & DCCR certification.
