Role Overview: As a Sourcing/Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply cycle, from request for quote to purchase order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of equipment to the line and on-time payment of suppliers. Your role will involve utilizing your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop objectives, and drive both short-term initiatives and long-term departmental improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Create RFQs and manage the placement and follow-up of POs for assigned commodities.
* Foster effective working relationships with suppliers to facilitate PO execution.
* Manage and resolve problems and schedule changes to ensure on-time delivery.
* Update ERP (Oracle Pascal) for accurate planning and inventory management.
* Develop new solutions and contribute to team efforts in problem-solving and strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and high-level individuals within the business.
* Work closely with Commodity Buyers on technical and commercial developments to enhance manufacturing processes and product knowledge.
* Actively participate in supplier performance reviews and contribute to project teams as required.

* Demonstrable technical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, motivate others, and influence stakeholders.
* Proficiency in coping with multiple complex situations daily.
* Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Desired Characteristics:
* Experience in supply chain management within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with the Oil and Gas sector (preferred but not essential).
