First Line Manager (Afternoon shift) Needed for Bardon Hill, Coalville
£33,075 plus shift bonus

Sunday to Thursday 15.00pm - 23.00pm
Job Role
You will be accountable for all activities of the pick department on shift. Ensure all targets and results are effectively communicated and your team are aware and working to meet or exceed agreed targets and KPIs.
Translate the company vision and strategy to your team to create a highly engaged team focused on Right First Time philosophy.
Lead by example, acting as a role model for your team in terms of standards, behaviours, performance and to promote our values.
Key is to manage , motivate, engage and manage all employees fairly and consistently and to maintain high morale.
Be open to change, building a high level of commitment in employees to achieve the goals.
Provide regular feedback through 1-2-1's and meetings, challenge, coach and develop all team members to ensure individual performance is maximised. Get the balance right, recognise and celebrate team success and respond rapidly to average or poor performance.
Apply a high standard of health and safety practice and process compliance for self and all team members.
Work collaboratively across all shifts providing effective support and handover information.
Manage and use resources, MHE and IT equipment in line with training.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience within a warehouse is essential, ideally at team leader / managerial level.
Proven experience leading and motivating a team.
Experience working in a KPI lead environment and managing productivity.
