Job Title: Assembly Team Leader

Location: Northampton, NN6

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4pm
 Friday: 7:30 am to 1 pm
Salary: £ 29,067k

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Assembly Team Leader is expected to complete the following:

Adhere to all production guidelines and drawings.
Regularly check the quality of work and maintain high productivity to meet the production plan.
Ensure accurate batch and serial number traceability.
Consistently maintain quality standards and complete work on time.
The Assembly Team Leader should maintain and promote good health and safety practices.
Participate in continuous improvement activities for efficiency and waste reduction.
Help meet key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
Act carefully as an Assembly Team Leader to minimise raw material wastage.
Collaborate with other departments like Sales, Design, and Supply Chain.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements for an Assembly Team Leader:

Minimum of 4 GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
As an Assembly Team Leader, you should have experience in a production or similar factory role, preferably in a lean manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to train colleagues in a calm and methodical manner.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to plan and prioritise workloads according to production plans.
