Role Information – Group Financial Operations Manager - 14 Months FTC:
Job Title: Group Financial Operations Manager - 14 Months FTC

Shift Pattern & Working Hours: Monday - Thursday's - 08:30 - 17:00
Friday's 08:30 - 14:30
The role is hybrid requiring travel to the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Summary of duties – Group Financial Operations Manager:
As an experienced Group Financial Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and industry standards.
* Management of finance team responsible for AP, AR, Payroll, expenses
* Leading projects to improve accounting processes and systems
* Leading month-end closing process ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reviewed
* Managing accounting of Company overseas subsidiaries
* Responsibility for certain month-end closing tasks (fixed assets ledger, accrued costs, deferred charges, IFRS16 adjustments etc.)
* Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance
In order to be successful in the role of Group Financial Operations Manager you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
* Reliable, curious, and quick learner
* At least 2-3 years’ experience as Senior accountant in small or medium size organisation. Large organisation is not considered a disadvantage as long as the role was hands-on and broad-based
* Professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.)
* Proven experience of managing and coaching a team
* Knowledge of IFRS, UK financial reporting requirements and tax system
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic discussions
* Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g. ERP systems, Excel). Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be considered as an advantage.
* Change management and system migration experience would be considered as an advantage
