Mechanical Technician

Mechanical Technician / Bury St Edmunds / Permanent- salary up to £ 52,517K per annum.

Position 1 Recruitment are looking for Mechanical Technician to join our client, manufacturing site based in Norfolk. Our client is a leading producer for the food and beverage market, and due to the ongoing growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their friendly engineering team.

As a Mechanical Technician you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s facilities. Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain all mechanical equipment to ensure safety and functionality

· Preserve the integrity of the building within maintenance capabilities

· Conduct routine maintenance and servicing following our PPM system

· Adhere to manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting repairs when necessary

· Bring your mechanical expertise to contribute to our team's success in a manufacturing setting

Mechanical Technician will have a proven track record of effective technical problem solving, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Experience of working in a lean operating environment, preferably FMCG. Experience of working in an operational team of varying disciplines and skill levels. ONC / HNC in Engineering supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
