Planned Works Surveyor

We are working with a provider of Social Housing, who are looking to recruit a Planned Works Surveyor to fulfil a minimum 3 month interim contract.

We are looking for an experienced Planned Works Surveyor to support the organisations Planned Programme by managing the large contracts to deliver high quality, investments and improvements across the housing stock. Ensuring that the organisations Assets are improved in accordance with agreed standards and meet all regulatory requirements, including Home England’s Decent Homes Standard.

You will Oversee the successful delivery of large scale, multi-year projects and contracts, leading on budgetary control, contract coordination, management and administration to ensure services are delivered to customer satisfaction, agreed standards, required level of performance and achieve Value for Money.

Operating as an expert for the organisation on all property issues, and investment decisions and provide technical building support and advice to the Capital Works and Asset & Sustainability departments.

Substantial experience, at surveyor level, of Asset Management/Property Investment and/or a relevant technical qualification, e.g. Member of CIOB or intermediate grade RICS or Member of Chartered Institute of Housing coupled with good customer service skills, full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
