Housekeeper - Private Household

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our client's household team at a beautiful private residence in the Cotswolds. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
* Maintain all rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure they are clean and tidy.
* Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
* Manage all household laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, folding, and storing clothes and linens.
* Organise closets, pantries, and storage areas to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
* Manage inventory of household supplies and restock as necessary.
* Assist with basic meal preparation and kitchen tasks as required.
* Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for meals.
* Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other necessary household tasks.
* Coordinate and oversee deliveries and maintenance services.
* Prepare guest rooms and ensure they are welcoming and comfortable.
* Assist with any special requests or requirements from guests.
* Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and special household projects.
* Help with event preparations and post-event clean-up.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or luxury hospitality setting.
* Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Trustworthy and reliable with a strong sense of integrity.
* Discreet and respectful of the homeowner’s privacy.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
* Valid driver’s license and own transportation preferred.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
