Do you have a passion for the orthopedic clinical environment, and do you want to put your commercial skills in motion with a progressive medical device manufacturer?
We are looking for a dynamic and resolute Business Developer that will enjoy engaging with orthopedic surgeons, understanding their needs, and building long-lasting connections through a consultative sales approach.
You will join a newly established international team of territory managers looking to create and develop new markets across Europe through a close collaboration with our local sales team as well as departments based in our European Headquarters in the Netherlands, including sales management, product specialists and clinical education managers.
In this exciting field position you will spend roughly 80% of your time in the operation theater, and 20% of your time travelling to visit Orthopedic centers where knee, shoulder, hip surgeries are performed. To succeed, you will bring in a strong integrity, the confidence to engage in peer-level conversations with surgeons, and excellent planning and organization skills.
Requirements:
Main Responsibilities:
Target key stakeholders and manage relationships independently (our CRM tool will help you organize your appointments)
Demonstrate the use of our orthopedic products to surgeons, clinical staff and nurses
Meet or exceed quota expectations as established for the product segment
Create an effective business plan and approach strategies with your manager
Work closely together with international colleagues in our European HQ as well as local sales teams
Keep up with the latest clinical data and communicate this information to healthcare professionals
Once established business, share knowledge with the local sales team
We Offer:
What you bring
Bachelor's / University degree level or similar
Experience with surgical medical devices sales or pharmaceutical sales, clinical/product development and/or marketing
Experience in attending surgery in an operating theater
Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
Able and willing to travel frequently
