Major Logistics are currently looking for an Transport Supervisor to join a busy transport operation, working nights, based in Normanton.
This is a full time permanent vacancy directly with the client.
Salary:
£35,000 P/A
Hours:
4 on 4 off shift pattern
1800 to 0600
Duties:
Control and execution of the plan
Pre-Brief and De-Brief all drivers
Dealing with issues and resolving issues as they arise through the shift
Conducting a handover between yourself and the parent site
Communicating issues to the relevant colleagues in a timely manner
Adhering to and controlling Transport related Compliance
Plus any other dutiesRequirements:
Experience of working in a busy Transport office
Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph and WTD legislation
Strong negotiating skills
IT literate
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Knowledge of transport systems.Benefits:
