Supply Chain Manager

A well-known group who manufacture products that are responsible for saving lives are currently on the lookout for a Supply Chain Manager. They work in a variety of industries including aerospace, maritime, defence and energy.
Info about what the role entails
This role will be responsible for managing the materials supply chain, coordinating the movement of materials and products from suppliers to the production site, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand. This is a strategic role, and you will act as the process owner within supply chain.
You’ll be responsible for managing the supply chain team which consists of between 15/20 people.
Requirements of the Supply Chain Manager
* Strong supply chain experience, with a focus on supplier relationship management, demand and supply planning.
* Good people management skills, ability to inspire a team
* Solid understanding of sales and operations planning
