Maintenance FM technician wanted!
Are you ready to join a leading Tier 1 UK construction company? Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance FM Technician (Building Fabric) to join their Facilities Management Division.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for providing a Building Fabric planned and reactive maintenance service across a portfolio site. Core building fabric maintenance will include general building repairs, plumbing and drainage, and joinery services. Responsibilities will include:
Reactive maintenance works and first line response in relation to all general building tasks.
Completing and providing reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including reporting your arrival and departure from each call and obtaining customer signature where required.
Ensuring compliance with company and client health and safety policies and procedures.
Prioritising maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed response times and if there are delays, liaise with the manager for direction.
Advising the Helpdesk where 3rd party contractor attendance is needed, either for quotation or to effect specialist repairs, and to provide job specification.
Assisting with surveys and reports.
Maintaining asset registers ensuring all equipment is tagged if applicable.
Undertaking reactive repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately, on time and in line with company procedures.
Requirements
Essential
NVQ Level 2 Carpentry or similar is essential
Full Driving Licence
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / IT products
Experience with building fabric maintenance tasks
Desirable
City & Guilds Carpentry & Joinery (6706)
IPAF Trained
Experience with Computer Aided Facilities Management Systems.
CSCS Card
Previous experience in working on a multi-site contract
