Workshop Assistant / Storeman
NCS are working with a close client of ours located in Bradford that are looking for a Workshop Assistant / Storeman.
This company are an established group of engineers that have been in business for many years now, they are proud to have a low staff turnover and offer a great work environment where growth is promoted. Previous experience working in a CNC environment is desired, however we are willing to consider candidates with other relevant experience.
Your key responsibilities;
* Assisting in the workshop providing support to the production team, topping up coolant or materials, or retrieving tooling for jobs.
* Stock taking and managing invetory (Receiving, storing and issuing materials/components as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop including general housekeeping, disposing of waste, organising tools or supplies for easier access.
* Assist with packaging / shipping of finished components or otherwise.
Requirements;
* Previous experience in a CNC environment is desired however we will consider other candidates with relevant experience.
* Physically able to carry out manual tasks.
* Good attention to detail and willingness to help others.
* Good communication and a positive attitude.
* Willing to work overtime where required.
This position works a standard Monday to Friday shift with an early finish on a Friday. Overtime is available on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
