Job Title: Registered Manager Supported Living – Complex Mental Health

Location: Bradford

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Supported Living services for individuals with complex mental health needs in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing high-quality support to service users.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supported Living service, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of support staff, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.

Service Delivery:

Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to the complex mental health needs of each service user.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

Financial Management:

Manage the service’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial sustainability.
Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to senior management.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Act as a representative of the organization at external meetings and events.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards.
Address and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing professional development for staff.
Ensure all staff are up-to-date with mandatory training and best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Registered Manager with a valid registration.
Extensive experience in managing supported living services or similar settings.
In-depth understanding of complex mental health conditions and appropriate care strategies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance.

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, Management, or related fields.
Experience with CQC inspections and maintaining compliance.
