Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for a Chef to join a local company in the Flintshire area on a full-time basis. This role will start as a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate!

This role is ideal for a candidate with previous Cook or Chef experience with a background working in kitchen environments and assisting with food preparation. Working as part of a small team, the successful applicant will be involved in food preparation, kitchen management, maintaining stock levels, and producing presentable meals for a variety of customers.

Hourly pay: £13.50 - £14 

(depending on Chef experience/qualifications)

The Role:
- Work in a busy kitchen environment alongside other staff members
- Managing stock of ingredients and maintaining stock levels
- Preparing food for a variety of meals to offer as part of a set menu
- Following food safety and and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Producing meals for planned events and functions such as Sunday lunches, Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, etc.
- Maintain your work station and ensure the kitchen area is kept clean and tidy

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience of preparing food and working in a kitchen environment
- Relevant qualification or experience in food hygiene and food preparation
- Able to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and planning skills
