Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Carryduff to recruit a new full time and permanent Finance Assistant

The purpose of the job is to ensure the essential management of the financial aspects of the company including record-keeping, reporting, compliance, cash management, analysis, and strategic planning. By fulfilling these responsibilities effectively, the finance administrator can contribute to the financial health, stability, and success of the company.

Duties

Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all financial data is organised and accessible for reporting and analysis.
Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts for the company.
Assist with preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in audits and financial reviews conducted by external auditors, regulatory agencies, or internal stakeholders.
Collaborating with management to develop financial strategies and initiatives is an important aspect of the role.
Managing the invoicing process and ensuring timely payment of bills and expenses is a key responsibility of finance administrators.
Assist in implementing and overseeing annual stocktaking procedures and controls.
Coordinate and assist with tracker reports
Strategic organisation and planning
Efficient time management
Collaborating with the finance department and other business units
Assist with finance department on updating and maintaining finance regulations
Criteria

Previous experience in finance, accounting in a finance administrator role
5 GCSEs to include English and Maths at Grade C or above
