Chief Operating Officer 

A fantastic opportunity to work with one of our exciting Media clients working with a luxury retailer. 

Location: Hybrid working - office located in London 

Salary: £125,000 - £175,000 

Role description: 

They are looking for a COO with a strong background in media platforms and working with luxury brands, and experience with social media and podcasts. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of achieving 100% growth and exceptional commercial strategy expertise. In this role, you will be key to scaling our operations, leading a talented team, and implementing effective strategies to meet our ambitious goals.

Responsibilities: 

Formulate and execute operational strategies to drive the company's growth objectives.

Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.

Develop and implement commercial strategies that lead to significant revenue growth and market expansion.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15+ professionals, providing guidance to department heads and functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and operational excellence.

Work closely with the MD and other executives to ensure operational strategies align with overall business goals.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.

Analyze market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to uncover growth and innovation opportunities.

Skills / Qualifications required: 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred). 

Proven track record in the media industry, particularly in social media and podcasting.

You need to have experience of supporting significant growth within previous roles. 

Demonstrated experience in senior management positions within the media industry, particularly in B2B publishing.

A background working with luxury brands for example high end watches would be highly beneficial for the position.
